KASUMOROMITORI SHOCHU -Distilled Sake
Komorebi -The Japanese word for "sunlight filtering through trees".
This Kasumoromitori Shochu is made from the single distillation of diluted and refermented Sake kasu. Sake kasu is the remaining rice solids that are separated from the clear Sake at the end of fermentation. It is full of residual alcohol and of all kinds of wonderful flavours and aromas. During refermentation new layers of complexity arise before transformation and distillation in a single pot still. Enjoy chilled or on the rocks.
